Flavor Test at Freddo's Gelato

Updated: Jul 16, 2020

It's too hot for our own good lately, so let's go get some cold stuff to make our lives a little better! Not just any ice cream, authentic Argentinian gelato right in the heart of Kendall - a sentence only found in Miami.

I got the chance to try the flavors they have on-board, so let's go!

-Banana Split: Oh wow that's flavorful (and I usually don't like Banana Split)

-Coconut with Hazelnut: It's really good but probably because I can’t taste the coconut much (sorry coconut lovers)

-Vanilla: Always a classic, can never go wrong with it

  • Banana Split: Oh wow that's flavorful (and I usually don't like Banana Split)

  • Chocolate with Hazelnut: It's really good.

  • Vanilla: Always a classic, can never go wrong with it

  • Tiramisu: SOOOOO GOOOOOOD!!!!

  • Sambazon aka rum raisin: Interesting, thankfully doesn't have raisins

  • Italian Mascarpone: Eh, it was okay

  • Granizado (Dulce de Leche with Chocolate Bits in it): It was my favorite one even if it looks like brown sugar with chocolate chips in it. I had the regular-sized cup of it but it's a lot of flavor, so be prepared

  • Dulce de Leche with Coconut: Eh. But it's probably because I'm not a big coconut lover. SORRY.

  • Temptation: STRAIGHT UP DULCE DE LECHE!!! None of that caramel sh*t. Wow. This one is tied for best

  • Strawberry Sorbet: Not as gross as you'd think, very refreshing. It's also 200000 degrees outside, so this one is welcomed

  • Passion Fruit + Lemon + Orange: Also DELICIOUS. Wow. I'm not a huge sorbet person but this was EXPLODING with FLAVORRR. So good. Could've had a whole tub.

In conclusion, get the tiramisu, any of the dulce de leche variations, and the passion fruit flavor. You're welcome!!!!!
