Is Ms. Cheezious Over Hyped?

What has received tons and tons and tons and tons of recognition has brought a spotlight to Miami that it didn’t know it needed: gourmet grilled cheese sandwiches. Starting as a food truck, Ms. Cheezious has not only maintained its food truck culture, but also opened up two locations – it’s every food truck owner’s dream!

Now, with so much fame – is it worth it?
As a certified BBQ flavor enthusiast, I ordered the BBQ Pulled Pork Melt (although I almost went for the Croqueta Monsieur.) A side of fries and I was ready to go. Let me begin by saying the sandwich was INCREDIBLE.
Like in a “shut you up” kind of way. Like in a “I forgot where I was for a second” kind of way. Like in a “Oh, I ordered fries?” kind of way.
However, I expected more. Coming from a grilled cheese restaurant, I expected my grilled cheese to have more cheese to accompany the pulled pork. Instead, it only had a bit of cheese oozing from the top and an overwhelming amount of pulled pork (making my BBQ alter-ego very happy).

The only thing I did not like were the fries. Although they were crispy, most tasted like they didn’t have anything inside it. Imagine that, tasting hollow fries.
Other than that, I really did enjoy the atmosphere, the giant Ms. Cheezious neon sign, and the many games to play while your food came out. Even the employees were really great; one even danced Independent Women by Destiny’s Child because duh.

Would I come back? Absolutely. Will I ask for extra cheese? Duh. Is my social media full of grilled cheese? How could it not.
